ABOUT MALTA

M a l t a

With a population of some 300,000 people, covering 200 sq. km of land space, Malta is becoming increasingly densely populated. This is one disadvantage of which Malta suffers. Apart from this, though, Malta boast of beautiful seas with crystal clear waters. Megalithic temples dating back some 5,000 years form a major part of Maltese history. They are indeed the oldest standing structures in the world, older than the pyramids of Egypt and even Stonehenge.

The Maltese are proud of their rich culture which they have inherited through all these years. A holiday in Malta i what you need! It will certainly let you experience a peaceful life completely different from the hectic one you prob- ably lead.

One simply cannot miss paying a visit to Malta's majestic capital city built by the Knights of St. John in the 16thcentury.

Mdina is also a place which must not be missed. It is a medevial city famous for its silence. In fact,it is also commonly known as the Silent City.

All this makes Malta the ideal tourist destination. You won't regret a visit, mark my words!
